BNY Mellon has named Eric Pulinx as CFO of its European banking entity, The Bank of New York Mellon, subject to regulatory approval.
Pulinx has a wealth of experience in the Belgium financial services industry. He joins after four years with bpost Bank (Belgian Postal Bank), where he was latterly chief financial officer, chief risk officer and a member of the executive committee.

Previously Pulinx spent over 10 years with KPMG where he was senior manager and recognized statutory auditor on the audit of several significant European banks. He is also president of the Prudential Affairs Committee of Febelfin (the Belgian National Bankers Association), a member of the Accounting Committee and participates in liquidity and stress testing working groups. He was appointed a board member of Febelfin Academy in April 2012.

BNY Mellon’s European banking entity is headquartered in Brussels and has branches in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Dublin, Luxembourg and Paris.
