As it continues to expand its organisation in recent months, the wealth management business of BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, has added four investment professionals to its wealth management group in Southern California.

Three of the four positions are newly created.

Sales Director Bob Robinson, senior wealth director John Zarchen and sales director Rob Vickery are based in the firm’s Los Angeles office and report to regional president Larry Miles. Senior director Eric McMullen is based in the company’s Newport Beach office where he reports to senior director Ben McGloin.

Robinson, who filled a vacant position, joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management in February from Welton Investment Corp. where he was managing director of business development from 2007 to 2013. Prior to that, he was director of sales for the western division of Quality Home Loans. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California Los Angeles and is mentor with the Sharpe Fellows Program at UCLA.

Zarchen stepped into his new position in April from Wells Fargo Private Bank where for more than four years he was senior vice president and national manager. From 2001 to 2008, he served as director of planning, also at Wells Fargo. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Denison University and MBA from Loyola Marymount.

Vickery assumed his new position in March, having come from the wealth and international division of Lloyds Banking Group. Since 2010, he served as a Director, building a successful operation in North America. Prior to that, he served with Lloyd’s in the UK in progressively responsible positions, having started as a corporate partnerships manager in 2006. He is a member of the board for International Trade Education Programs (ITEP), a leading education-based charity, and actively assists hundreds of at-risk-youth across Southern California achieve a career in international business.
