BNP Paribas Wealth Management has hired seven individuals to its Asia Pacific business, with four senior hires joining the China team.
Ivan Ching, with over 17 years of experience in servicing high net worth and consumer clients in China, has joined as managing director for the China Market.

Ching previously worked at Credit Suisse as director for seven years focusing on ultra high net worth clients and major shareholders of China-listed companies. He started his career at UBS.
Alex Xu joined the firm as managing director, China Market. Earlier to this, he was with Guosen Securities as managing director, corporate finance. He also worked for Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, UBS and DBS private bank, servicing private clients in China.
Maggie Zhang, with 18 years of experience in private banking, sales, business development, finance and control, has joined BNP Paribas as director, China market.
Zhang earlier worked at UBS as director for ultra high net worth clients in the China market, and also worked for Credit Suisse.

Louisa Yau, with 25 years of experience servicing private clients has joined the Hong Kong team as managing director from HSBC Private Bank. Prior to this she worked for UBS and Chase Manhattan Private Bank.
Ching joined the Hong Kong team as senior vice president for Hong Kong market.
Ching has previously worked at Morgan Stanley as vice president, covering ultra high net worth clients in Hong Kong market. She also worked for UBS and Credit Suisse.
BNP Paribas has appointed Garth Bregman as regional head of discretionary portfolio management for Asia to solidify its discretionary portfolio management offering.
