BNP Paribas Wealth Management Asia Pacific has named Vikas Jaidka as the new head of its non-resident Indian (NRI) clients.
In the new role, Jaidka will spearhead the firm’s NRI teams in Hong Kong and Singapore and will report to head of Indian markets Samir Bimal.

Jaidka most recently worked at Citibank, with responsibility for building the firm’s NRI business across Asia Pacific, UK, UAE, and Africa.
Commenting on the appointment, BNP Paribas Wealth Management Asia Pacific CEO Pierre Vrielinck said: “The NRL segment is clearly a growth area for our business in Asia. With Vikas coming on board, and our strong foothold of serving ultra-high net worth clients in the region, we are well positioned to achieve our ambitious goals in this growth market.”
