BNP Paribas Investment Partners (PIP) has rolled out a new European equity fund that will focus on both healthy payouts and sustainability standards.
The new offering, dubbed Parvest Sustainable Equity High Dividend Europe, will implement a responsible investment approach that focuses on both high dividend-yielding stocks and compliance with certain environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards.

The fund will reduce exposure to controversial areas such as weapons and nuclear power. At the same time, it will also avoid firms with low ESG ratings and unsustainable dividend policies.
The new offering will be managed by the firm’s head of sustainable thematic equities Gaetan Obert.
BNP Paribas Investment Partners is the asset management unit of BNP Paribas Group. The business managed assets worth EUR521bn as of the end of March 2016.
