Under the deal, BNP Paribas exclusively distribute Barrow Hanley’s investment expertise in Australia and New Zealand.

Established in 1979 in Dallas, Texas, Barrow Hanley offers value-oriented investment strategies to institutional investors, mutual funds, and family offices.

Commenting on the partnership, BNP Paribas Investment Partners’ CEO David Grybas said, "This partnership fits with our objective of providing Australian and New Zealand investors with the full circle of asset management expertise."

As per the terms of the strategic partnership, Barrow Hanley global value equity capability will be added to BNP Paribas Investment Partners’ existing local investment solutions offering, which includes Arnhem Investment Management (Australian equities), Antin Infrastructure Partners (European infrastructure).

It also comprises Carnegie Asset Management (global growth equity), FFTW (fixed income), Hamilton Lane (private equity), Impax Asset Management (environmental and resource efficiency markets), Permal (hedge fund solutions) and internal Investment Partner, BNP Paribas Asset Management.
