BNP Paribas Asset Management has appointed Mark Speciale as the new head of institutional sales for the Asia Pacific region.
Based in Singapore, Speciale will oversee the region’s institutional sales strategy and client relationship management with focus on developing partnerships with institutional investors including central banks, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and insurance firms.

He will report to BNP Paribas Asset Management Asia Pacific CEO, Ligia Torres.
Speciale, who has an experience of around three decades, most recently served as the head of distribution for Asia Pacific at BNY Mellon Investment Management.
“Mark has an outstanding reputation and acute understanding of the institutional business in Asia and investment needs facing Asian institutional clients, having worked with some of the largest and most sophisticated global investment management companies. His experience complements the existing institutional sales expertise and teams already in place, and in particular Christian’s wholesale distribution team,” Torres stated.
