BNP Paribas Investment Partners, the asset management arm of BNP Paribas, has entered into a strategic partnership with Orion Partners, an Asia-focused alternative investment firm.
Under the deal, BNP’s alternative and incubation specialist BNP Paribas Capital Partners (BNPP CP) will purchase a minority stake in Hong Kong-based Orion Partners, which specialising in real estate and private equity.

The partnership will see BNPP CP and Orion Partners developing and launching new funds to meet increasing client demand for Asia-focused alternative investment funds.
Following the transaction, Orion Partners will continue to operate under its existing leadership and remain independent in all its businesses and investment decisions.
