BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has unveiled plans for the creation of a new private debt and real assets investment group.

The new group will be headed by David Bouchoucha and will invest in syndicated loans, direct loans and private bonds funding corporates or real assets.

The newly created group will comprise three teams, namely Real Assets, SME Lending and Structured Finance; Global Loans; and the SME Advanced Solutions.

Real Assets, SME Lending and Structured Finance will be headed by Laurent Gueunier. The team has Philippe Deloffre as head of Real Estate Debt, Karen Azoulay as head of Infrastructure Debt, Christophe Carrasco as head of SME Lending, Stephane Blanchoz as head of Structured Finance. The team has 10 investment professionals.

The Global Loans team will be headed by Vanessa Ritter. The 20-member team will oversee leveraged loan funds, collateralised loan obligations, and private placements.

The SME Advanced Solutions, a new team led by Fabrice Susini, comprises an alternative pan-European SME lending platform. The bank announced plans to make new hires in the team in the near future.
