French banking giant BNP Paribas has named Gyorgy Cselenyi as the head of securities services in Hungary.
Cselenyi, who has about 20 years of experience in the Hungarian banking market, joined BNP Paribas as a bond trader for the company’s local asset-liability management portfolio in 2004.

Prior to the new role, Cselenyi was head of interest rate trading at BNP Paribas corporate and investment unit in Hungary.
Before joining BNP Paribas, he was head of international settlements at the Hungarian Government-Debt Management Agency and has also worked in several trading roles at the Hungarian Foreign Trade Bank which includes head of treasury trading.
In his new role, Cselenyi will report to Gerald Noltsch, the bank’s regional manager for Germany, Northern Europe, CEE and CIS.
Noltsch said: "We’re pleased to appoint Gyorgy to lead our business in Hungary. His outstanding experience and knowledge of the local banking market, together with his strong existing knowledge of the BNP Paribas group, makes him the ideal candidate to take our business forward in Hungary."
