BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed Daniel Klein as the global head of Client Services.
Klein, who will assume his new role on 1 January 2021, will be in charge of bolstering the company’s client services in all regions.

Based in Paris, he will make sure that the firm continues to develop its understanding of client requirements and expectations, enhancing the quality of client services and information, the company said.
Klein will report to Global Client Group head and BNPP AM executive committee member Sandro Pierri.
Commenting on Klein’s appointment, Pierri said: “Delivering long-term sustainable returns to our clients in our everyday mission, and client satisfaction is a key component of business success.

In his previous role as BNPP AM USA CEO and head of Sales in North America, Klein managed the firm’s asset management activities in New York and Boston, and led sales in the region.
Additionally, he has held several roles in Asia and Europe as part of the company including positions such as BNPP AM Japan CEO, Product Specialists head and Discretionary Portfolio Management team head.
Last month, BNPP AM appointed Johanna Lasker and Amanda Raynor as CEO and deputy CEO, respectively, for the US.
In July this year, the firm named Steven Billiet as the new head of its Asia Pacific unit, replacing Ligia Torres.
