They are multi-asset fund of fund portfolios aimed at investors with three, five and 10 years minimum investment horizons respectively.

Each portfolio targets a different level of risk exposure and each holds a diverse range of investment vehicles to optimise efficiency from a risk/return perspective.

The initiator and legal manager of the portfolios, as per local regulations under the German Banking Act — the Kreditwesengesetz — is the registered asset manager BN and Partners Deutschland, part of the Reuss Private Group.

Morningstar Investment Management Europe’s advisory of the portfolios involves all aspects of a portfolio design solution. This includes asset allocation — both long-term strategic and tactical — the selection of underlying funds, portfolio construction, and continuous monitoring of the internal requirements regarding investment and return and risk objectives.

Fondsnet CEO Georg Kornmayer said, "We believe this offering is unparalleled in terms of the depth and professionalism that it brings to investors, and that this kind of joined-up solution points the way to the future of the German advisory market."

The underlying funds within each portfolio have been selected by Morningstar Investment Management Europe in accordance with each portfolio’s specific strategic and tactical asset allocation targets.

To support this, the investment advisory team draws upon the expertise of more than 100 Morningstar manager research analysts around the world, who follow a globally consistent methodology that uses both qualitative and quantitative measures to identify the funds believed to be most likely to outperform its peers and/or relevant benchmark on a risk-adjusted basis over the long-term.
