In his new role, Hackett will oversee the performance, strategy and delivery of BMO Financial Group’s personal wealth management businesses across the US.

In addition, he will develop new products and solutions for all business segments within BMO Private Bank.

Hackett, who joined BMO in 2004, most recently served as senior vice president and head of North American integrated channels. Previously, he also led BMO Harris Bank’s business banking operations in the U.S. and served as a regional president for the retail operation in Chicago. He also served as vice president, acquisition, integration and alignment.

Prior to joining BMO, Hackett worked as management consultant at McKinsey & Company in Chicago and also held several roles at General Electric Company.
