BMO Financial has named Ravi Sriskandarajah as new managing director and head of global asset management (Asia Pacific), replacing Amit Prakash.
Based in Hong Kong, Sriskandarajah will report to both Barry McInerney, co-CEO of BMO Global Asset Management and Albert Yu, CEO Asia, BMO Financial Group.

In his new role, Sriskandarajah will be in charge for management oversight, governance and leading the organization’s growth strategy across the Asia Pacific region.
Sriskandarajah, who joined the bank in 2013 and has 15 years of asset management experience, has led BMO Global Asset Management’s expansion into Australia.
Additionally, Prakash has assumed the role as managing director, global exchange traded funds (ETFs) and Alternative investments, BMO Global Asset Management.
In his new role, Prakash will direct the growth of two global initiatives, ETFs and alternative investments, by identifying opportunities and developing strategic priorities.
