BMO Global Asset Management has rolled out a new BMO Alternative Strategies Fund (BMATX) that aims to provide investors with an additional source of portfolio diversification and return over varying market environments.
The fund will be run by BMO Asset Management Corp in partnership with CTC / myCFO, an affiliate of BMO Financial Group.

The BMO Alternative Strategies Fund seeks to improve diversification while providing liquidity that is not associated with alternative strategies.
The fund also provides investors with access to non-traditional investment strategies. It adopts a strategy that includes long/short equity, capital structure arbitrage and event-driven tactics.
The latest addition will bring BMO’s total fund range to 48.
