BMO Capital Markets, the investment and corporate banking division of BMO Financial Group, has named Peter Myers as new head of its investment and corporate banking in the US replacing Perry Hoffmeister.

In his new role, Myers will be responsible for continuing BMO Capital Markets’ growth in the U.S., which has greater potential for growth than Canada.

Myers previously served as head of investment and corporate banking Canada and International for six years.

Additionally, Hoffmeister has been appointed as global head of investment and corporate banking.

Furthermore, Dan Barclay has been named as head of investment and corporate banking Canada and International, while John Armstrong has been appointed as Head of Canadian M&A and Luke Seabrook as global head of trading products.
