Under the alliance, RIAs can access a solution to securely buy, sell and store digital assets.

The solution will use Blockchange’s BITRIA Digital Turnkey Asset Management Platform (DTAMP), along with Gemini’s exchange and custody solution.

This combined solution will be ideal for RIAs with a young client base and interest to enter the digital asset market.

Wealth management firm Quantum Capital Management will use the solution to manage digital assets for its clients. It will also utilise the solution to deliver digital asset management services to other RIAs.

This will enable inexperienced firms to participate in the digital asset space.

Quantum chief investment officer Howard Aschwald said: “After reviewing several options including investment trusts, index funds, and hedge funds, we chose the Blockchange-Gemini solution because it allows us to implement, at scale, our Digital Asset Management Strategy improving liquidity and control over risk management.”

The Blockchange-Gemini solution provides improved customisation and flexibility, and superior tax benefits, said the companies.

Last month, Blockchange launched the turnkey digital asset management platform, named BITRIA, for  RIAs.
