BlackRock has named Adrian Sharpe as new sales director for the North of England replacing Nick Lumb.
In his new role, Sharpe will be responsible for overseeing relationships and providing advisers with market insight and fund information, and will report to head of regional sales Dorian Hughes.

Sharpe joined BlackRock from BNY Mellon, where he served as the head of discretionary sales.
Prior to this, he served as head of discretionary and institutional sales at Close Investments and also served as director of US distribution for Threadneedle Investments.
