In the new role, he will be tasked with developing and implementing growth strategies in Australia, and will report to BlackRock Asia Pacific chairman Ryan Stork.

“Australia is home to the world’s fourth largest pension market, and Dominik’s experience leading high-growth businesses in Latin America & Iberia will be a great asset to us. His appointment adds impetus to our efforts in delivering tailored investment solutions and risk management advisory to a diverse local client base,” Stork said.

Rohe will also become a member of the firm’s global operating as well as Asia Pacific executive committees.

Arter, who led the team for four years, has now moved to London to lead the company’s institutional client unit in the UK, Middle East and Africa.
