The US & Canada Institutional business represents $1.1 trillion of assets under management and is responsible for all client service and sales activities within the region.
Based in New York City, Conway will report to Robert Fairbairn, senior managing director and head of BlackRock’s Global Client Group.

Conway will also join the firm’s Global Client Group Executive and Global Operating Committees.
Most recently, Conway served as a senior managing director in Investor Relations and Business Development (IRBD) for Blackstone.
Prior to this, Conway was managing director and head of Investor Relations and Business Development for Blackstone Alternate Asset Management (BAAM), Blackstone’s fund of hedge funds group.
Fairbairn said Edwin’s depth of experience and broad knowledge of the institutional marketplace will further strengthen the company’s ability to provide clients with best-in-class alpha and beta investment solutions.
