BHF Kleinwort Benson Group has appointed Gerd Häusler as chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Häusler is replacing Konstantin Graf von Schweinitz, who will continue to remain a member of the board.

Häusler, with over 35 years of international banking and financial markets experience, held the position of CEO of Bayerische Landesbank from 2010 to 2014.
He was named as an independent member of the Board on 24 February 2015 and earlier served as a non-executive member on the Board from October 2008 to June 2013. He worked as a senior Advisor at BHF Kleinwort Benson Group from 2008 to 2010.
He also held the role of chairman and independent member of the Board of Directors of Kleinwort Benson Group from April 2014 to December 2014.
Häusler also had stints as counsellor and director of the International Capital Markets Department of the IMF, and vice chairman and managing director at Lazard, after having spent the first 18 years of his career in various roles at Deutsche Bundesbank.
