Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL), an independent investment bank and financial advisory firm, has named Seth Rosenfield as a new managing director.
He will collaborate with BGL’s new technology & information services sector, inside the company’s services vertical, alongside managing director Brandon Dobell. Rosenfield has over two decades of expertise in information services, business media, and marketing technology & services investment banking.

Rosenfield spent over 12 years as a managing director at Canaccord Genuity, where he was primarily responsible for information services, business media, and marketing technology and services, before joining BGL.
He oversaw the company’s coverage of information services and business-to-business transactions while serving as a managing director at BMO Capital Markets.
Moreover, Rosenfield started his career in operations by holding business management roles at Simon & Schuster, a CBS, Inc. company, and Scholastic Corporation. He graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in international business and finance as well as an MBA.
