Bessemer Trust has appointed Alfonso Baigorri as new managing director and regional director to its Miami office.
In his new role, Baigorri will advise wealthy families and individuals who could benefit from the firm’s private wealth management capabilities.

Baigorri will report to Michael Marquez, managing director and Florida region head.
Baigorri, who has over 20 years of industry experience, has advised ultra-high-net-worth families on tax minimization strategies and implementation of estate plans for US and foreign status assets.
Baigorri has joined Bessemer from JPMorgan Private Bank, where he most recently served as a managing director in the Latin America wealth advisory practice.
Prior to this, he worked with a US-based law firm, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Katz Barron Squitero & Faust, and Banco Santander, in Puerto Rico and Florida.
