Bessemer Trust said that Grant Gardner has joined the firm’s New York office as principal, head of estate administration and fiduciary counsel.

Gardner will be responsible for managing all estates for which Bessemer is serving as executor or as personal representative. He will report to Lynn Halpern Lederman, Managing Director and Senior Fiduciary Counsel Northeast Region.

"Grant has extensive experience in all aspects of estate administration. In addition, he has significant expertise in estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families, including living trusts, gift and insurance trusts, and sophisticated transfer tax techniques," said Ms. Halpern Lederman.

"His knowledge will be a great resource for our clients, families, and beneficiaries in order to assist with the transfer of wealth in the most tax efficient manner."

Prior to joining Bessemer, Mr. Gardner was with the estate administration departments at Northern Trust and U.S. Trust Company. Earlier in his career, he practiced law with Holland & Knight and Kelley Drye & Warren.
