Hamburg-based private bank Berenberg has appointed Angela Muller-Valkyser as the new co-head of its German wealth management arm.
Muller-Valkyser will take up the new responsibility on 1 January 2018. She most recently served as the managing director for strategic clients for the Region West at Deutsche Bank.

Altogether, she spent 22 years at Deutsche Bank, holding several management roles in corporate and investment banking and in wealth management.
Berenberg head of wealth and asset management Henning Gebhardt said: “Angela Muller-Valkyser has many years of experience in managing complex family assets. I am convinced that we can use her skills for the target groups of family entrepreneurs, family offices and foundations in particular to expand our offering and acquire new clients.”
