As part of the deal, Bob Bradley and Nick Bird, two shareholders at TAM will join Bellpenny as financial planners, thus allowing them to maintain existing client relationships.

The acquisition will bring Bellpenny’s total assets under advice to £3.5bn.

Bellpenny acquisitions director Dominic Rose said: "Having completed two high-quality IFA deals totalling more than GBP350 million of funds under management this month alone, Bellpenny maintains its excellent growth trajectory."

Bradley and Bird said: "Our clients will benefit from continuity of service and we also feel that they will benefit from Bellpenny’s investment proposition.
