Bedell Trust, a Jersey-based independent trust company, has further extended its international presence by establishing operation in Cayman.

The company will provide a wide range of trust and corporate services to clients from its Cayman operation.

The new operation, Bedell Trust Cayman Limited, will be managed by Cayman trust and fiduciary business.

Grant Barbour, a director of Bedell Trust Cayman, will head up the Cayman business, the company said.

Bedell Trust recently extended its international reach by acquiring a majority stake in a trust company in Singapore and this year strengthened its presence in European markets by opening an office in Luxembourg.
