William McGilivray has joined Bedell Trust’s London office as a director, to assist in delivering the bespoke range of fiduciary services the firm offers clients, and to develop new business opportunities across the group’s international locations.
McGilivray has been recruited from a leading financial services provider where he was a wealth planner in their private wealth group responsible for developing relationships and working with ultra high net worth families. He also has considerable experience in corporate and institutional banking, including global custody, fund administration and the delivery of front and back office solutions to corporate clients.

Beginning his career in Boston, Massachusetts and before moving to London in 2008, McGilivray provided management consultancy services to some of the largest and most prestigious asset management organisations in the US. He has 16 years’ experience in financial services which has included a strong focus on wealth management for both private and corporate clients.
He was educated in the US where he received a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Michael’s College, Vermont, and an MBA with a focus on finance and investments from Clarkson University in New York.
