Baring Asset Management has appointed Duncan Goodwin as its new head of global resources, effective from January next year.
In his new role, Goodwin will replace Jonathan Blake, who has left the firm at the end of last month and will be responsible to manage Barings’ Global Resources fund.

Goodwin has joined Barings from Martin Currie, where he was investment director and head of global resources managing Martin Currie GF global resources fund for eight years.
Earlier to that, he worked at Merrill Lynch, Citigroup and Lehman Brothers as an equity research analyst, specialising in European energy companies.
