Baring Asset Management, the international investment management firm, has appointed Eric Lee to the newly created role of CFO for Asia.
He is based in Hong Kong and reports jointly to Julian Swayne, CFO, Barings and Gerry Ng, CEO, Baring Asset Management (Asia) Limited.

Gerry Ng comments: "Barings’ Asian business continues to strongly grow and evolve, in particular following our acquisition of SEI Asset Korea earlier this year to create Barings Korea. We have therefore identified the need to further enhance our finance function in the region by creating the new senior role of Chief Financial Officer – Asia. We are very pleased that Eric is joining us in this role. His vast regional experience will prove important as we look to continue to build on our significant presence in Asia."
Eric joins from Blackrock where he was Finance Controller for Asia ex Japan since 2007 having previously been Senior Finance Manager at Value Partners.
