Barclays Wealth and Investment management has appointed a new director to its Chennai office to lead its business development activities in the region.
Balaji Vardham joins Barclays from BNP Paribas Wealth Management where he had been for 13 years working in both the South Asian and South East Asian markets.

In his new role, Vardham will head a team of relationship managers and will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with high net worth clients in Chennai and the region.
In addition Vardham will work closely with Vishal Jain, Barclays Wealth and Investment Management’s head of sales to develop business in the region as a part of the business’s planned expansion across India.
