Emmanuel Fievet, head of Barclays’ wealth management business for UK & Europe, has decided to leave the firm after five years in senior management roles.

He led the British bank’s wealth management business in EMEA and more recently (since October 2012), UK and Europe.

Henry Fischel-Bock has been selected to replace Emmanuel as head of wealth management UK and Europe and will join W&IM’s ExCo with immediate effect.

Fischel-Bock, who has nearly 30-years of experience in the industry, joined Barclays in February 2010 from International Planning Group, a client advisory firm in Miami.

The bank also announced that David Semaya will also be retiring from the bank at the end of the year after nearly 10 years of service.

Semaya started his career at Barclays in 2004 leading and growing Barclays Global Investors (BGI) Japan. In 2006 he was appointed CEO for BGI EMEA and Asia ex-Japan.
