Barclays has expanded its wealth & investment management team in Scotland by hiring Neil MacKay and Katie McLaughlin as new private bankers.

In their new positions, MacKay and McLaughlin will deliver support to the Perth and Aberdeen regions respectively.

MacKay joined Barclays from BA Training & Consultants. He also worked with Coutts, Child & Co and Standard Life among others across financial planning, investments, protection, pension and mortgages.

McLaughlin, who joined Barclays team in Aberdeen in 2012, has previously held roles with HSBC in Inverness and Aberdeen and HBOS.

McLaughlin will be responsible for growing Barclays business in the north east.
