A unit of Bank of Nova Scotia (Scotiabank), Dynamic Funds, has hired Myles Zyblock for the role of chief investment strategist.
Previously chief institutional strategist for Royal Bank of Canada’s (RBC) investment-banking unit, Zyblock takes over from Rohit Sehgal, as the fund manager reorganises. Sehgal is moving from mutual funds to managing alternative assets. Yassen Dimitrov takes over as lead portfolio manager for Dynamic Financial Services Fund, which he co-managed with Sehgal since July 2010.

Alexander Lane has also been appointed as co-portfolio manager for the Dynamic Power Canadian Growth Fund and Dynamic Power Balance Fund.
In September 2013, fund manager Chuk Wong will assume lead portfolio management responsibilities for Dynamic Emerging Markets Class, which he has co-managed with Sehgal since inception, according to Scotiabank.
