Banque SYZ & CO has opened a new representative office in Dubai, which will focus on the clientele of institutional and private investors in the Gulf Cooperation Council States (GCC).
Operating within the framework of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the office will promote its activities for institutional investors including sovereign funds, pension funds, institutions, multi-family offices, and wealthy individuals.

Additionally, the office will cover all six GCC States, promote the OYSTER investment funds, and examine the opportunities for expansion in the region.
Banque Syz & Co received authorisation for the new office from the Dubai Financial Services Authority in June this year.
The office will initially be managed by George Azar and Imran Ahmed.
Azar joined SYZ & CO from Jefferies International where he managed the UAE branch of the business. Previously he spent 11 years with UBP as chief executive of its Qatar office.
