Luyet will lead a new team comprising more than 20 customer relationship managers as the firm plans a ‘significant expansion’ in the market, Sarasin said in a statement.
The expansion is part of the Sarasin Group’s growth strategy and sets a clear signal for its home market of Switzerland, the statement said.

A Swiss citizen, Luyet has an MBA in Political Science from the University of Geneva. After graduating, he spent 13 years with UBS in Geneva, where he was in charge of Private Banking in Nyon.
From 2001 onwards he was associated with Credit Suisse in Lausanne and Geneva, most recently as deputy head private banking for the Geneva region.
