Bank of the West, a subsidiary of BNP Paribas, has named Wade Balliet as new chief investment advisor.

Based at the bank’s Denver office, Balliet will oversee investment advisory & management team which includes portfolio managers who work with affluent and high net worth clients to manage their assets.

In his new role, he will also work alongside senior representatives globally who provide a global vision for asset allocation programs as part of the BNPP network, headed by Florent Brones, chief investment officer of BNPP Wealth Management.

Balliet will also share US perspectives and bring global insights to his team’s strategies for US clients.

Balliet, who joined the bank in 2001, currently served as senior vice president at the bank.
