Bank J. Safra Sarasin has appointed Jennie Hananto to the new role of vice chairman for client advisory in Singapore.

Hananto, who has more than 15 years of experience in private banking sector, will report to Eric Morin, CEO of the firm’s Singapore branch and Southeast Asia, according to publication The Asset.

Prior to joining to Bank J. Safra Sarasin, Hananto served as deputy head of Southeast Asia at BSI Bank in Singapore.

Before BSI, Hananto served as senior vice president and team head, Indonesia at Clariden Leu, Singapore. She joined Clariden Leu in 2006 from ABN Amro Bank, Indonesia where she had been senior director and country head of private banking since 2002.

From 2000 to 2002, she served as a director and country head of private banking at Societe Generale.
