Baird Financial Group has lured two financial advisers from UBS and Wells Fargo to expand its Houston offices.
The firm has named Craig Young a new director of the Houston market.

In his new role, Young will oversee Baird’s two wealth management offices in Houston, as well as recruit veteran financial advisors.
Young will work together with Patricia Sparks, who has been named as office administrative manager for the Houston Market.
Young joined Baird from UBS Financial Services where he led their Houston Galleria office with nearly 55 advisors and more than US$6 billion in client assets. Prior to this, Young was a complex business development officer for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. He began his career in financial services as an advisor with Smith Barney in 2006.
Additionally, the firm has also appointed Gary Foose from Wells Fargo Advisors as a director and financial advisor in the firm’s Houston office.
