Baird, an international, employee-owned wealth management, capital markets, private equity and asset management firm, announced that it has added The Liles Group, a father-son financial advisor team, in its Nashville wealth management office.
The team, which includes financial advisors Malcolm Liles, director, and William Liles, CFP, CIMA, brings more than 50 years of combined industry experience to Baird. They are joined by client relationship assistant, Sherri Minunno.

Malcolm Liles joins Baird from Morgan Stanley, where he was a senior vice president and family wealth director since 1981. He began his career with the firm formerly known as The Robinson Humphrey Company, where he remained through multiple mergers and acquisitions. Earlier this year, he was recognised on Barron’s annual list of "Top 1,000 Advisors by State" for the fourth year in a row, ranking No. 11 in Tennessee. Additionally, Malcolm was recently one of only two advisors in Tennessee included on The Financial Times’ inaugural list of "Top 400 Advisors."
Malcolm holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Georgia. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kappa Alpha Order Education Foundation and the Arthur and Sylvia Lee Scholarship Foundation.
William Liles began his career as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley in 2010, working with his father. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, he worked with Regions Bank and Credit Suisse Securities (USA). William holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The University of Georgia and an M.B.A. with a specialisation in investment management from The Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
