AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has bolstered its Asian fixed income team by appointing Honyu Fung as new senior portfolio manager and Jason Pang as portfolio manager.
Based in Hong Kong, Fung and Pang will report to Jim Veneau, head of fixed income Asia.

In his new role, Fung will be responsible for providing coverage of the credit sector as well as managing key client portfolios, while Pang will manage fixed income portfolios and provide bottom up credit analysis on Asian fixed income issuers.
Fung joined AXA IM from HSBC Global Asset Management, where he worked for more than 11 years, most recently as associate director for Hong Kong managing Asian Fixed Income mandates.
Pang also joined AXA IM from HSBC Global Asset Management in Hong Kong, where he served as senior Asian fixed income investment manager. Prior to this, he worked within the wealth management distribution team at UBS Global Asset Management in Hong Kong.
Jim Veneaus said: "As a business we continue to see increasing demand for Asian fixed income product from our global client base. These appointments will enable us to provide greater coverage of the Asian markets as we focus on expanding our investment capabilities and range of fixed income products tailored to client needs."
