Commenting on the appointments, AXA IM CEO Andrea Rossi said: "Christophe has an in-depth knowledge of AXA IM having led our strategy and business development team and served as our global chief operating officer since joining AXA IM in 2006.

"He also has a strong track record in managing change which will be hugely valuable as he and the rest of the Client Group work together to further leverage this new organisational structure in order to accelerate our growth with third party clients, and continue to develop AXA IM’s global presence."

The Client Group, which was established in February this year, is in charge of developing AXA IM’s proposition by client segment (institutional, retail and wholesale), while coordinating and monitoring marketing and client relationship activities.
