AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has hired Kelly Ng director of private banking coverage for Asia in a bid to bolster its coverage in the segment.
Ng in his new role will be based in Singapore and report to Terence Lam, head of sales and marketing for Asia.

Ng joined AXA IM from Permal Singapore, where he as vice president responsible for business development for South Asian markets.
Previously he held various business development and marketing roles at Citibank in Singapore.
Commenting on the appointment, Lam said: "We look forward to working with him to strengthen our coverage of private banks at a time when demand for asset management services in the region is growing rapidly."
In Asia, AXA IM has offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo. It also has joint ventures in Shanghai, Seoul and Mumbai.
