France-based AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has named Laurent Seyer as global head of its distribution.
Based in Paris, Seyer will be responsible for strengthening AXA IM’s relationships with its third-party clients and ensure the firm’s investment solutions are distributed effectively to external investors worldwide.

Seyer, who is currently global head of multi-asset client solutions (MACS) at AXA IM, will report to Andrea Rossi, CEO of AXA IM.
AXA IM said that there will be many changes in its management board as a result of Seyer’s new role.
Christophe Coquema, previously AXA IM’s chief operating officer, will be named as global head of MACS succeeding Seyer, while Joseph Pinto, previously global head of markets and investment strategy (MIS) will become global chief operating officer.
Effective 1 March 2014, both Coquema and Pinto will report to Rossi.

Coquema will continue to build on the foundations laid by Laurent in the MACS team, further strengthening the relationship with the AXA Group, while Pinto with his extensive experience across various departments at AXA IM, was the natural choice to step into Global COO role."
