Aviva’s asset management business, Aviva Investors has appointed four people to its multi-asset team.
The persons include Trevor Leydon, Ben Maynard, Wei-Jin Tan, and Mary Nicola.

Earlier head of investment risk fixed income of the company, Trevor Leydon has now been designated head of investment risk and portfolio construction and will oversee construction and risk management for the company’s investor’s multi-strategy range.
Leydon served at UBS O’Connor before joining the company.
Ben Maynard, previously in the fixed income team, has now been designated head of equity derivatives.
Ben will now be responsible for creating investment ideas and aiding with the structuring of positions to develop market-leading propositions.

By GlobalDataWei-Jin Tan, part of the front office risk team for multi-asset investing, will join in October to assist Leydon in portfolio construction and risk.
He was earlier in State Street Global Investors, with his role focused on risk management for their absolute return products.
In Singapore, Mary Nicola has been designated as an investment strategist and will be a part of the multi-asset strategy team.
Her role will focus on Asian equity, fixed income as well as FX markets.
These appointments are in addition to the appointment of Ian Pizer who joined the company in May as a senior multi-asset portfolio manager.
