Aubrey Capital Management, a Scottish specialist investment manager, has is planning to expand its fund range by launching an emerging market consumer fund next month, according to a Investment Week report.
The fund will invest in consumer-related companies such as travel, property, retail and healthcare within its emerging market consumer remit capacities.

Investment manager Andrew Dalrymple and new hire Rob Brewis will manage the Asian arm of the Luxembourg-domiciled fund that has a retail share class charge of 1.5% while John Ewart will focus on Latin America.
Prior to co-founding Aubrey in 2006, Dalrymple ran the First State Global Opportunities fund from 1999 to 2006 while Brewis, who joined Aubrey in October, has co-founded boutique investment management firm BDT Invest which was absorbed by Blackfriars Asset Management in July.
Andrew Dalrymple told the publication that the decision to set up the fund came about as the firm has been successfully running a similar mandate for a large UK institutional firm for three years.
