Atlantic Trust’s Boston office is home to 20 relationship managers and has more than $5.7 billion in assets under management (as of September 30, 2013). The addition of Connelly allows Atlantic Trust to better serve its existing client base and broaden relationships with many of the premier law firms in the Northeast that use and will consider Atlantic Trust as a trustee and wealth manager for their clients.

Linda Beerman, chief fiduciary officer and head of Atlantic Trust’s Wealth Strategies Group, said: "When clients or prospective clients can sit down with someone who understands their challenges and goals, the result is a better plan for integrating the various aspects of their financial lives. We believe access to tenured wealth planning professionals is critical for our clients."

Connelly joins Atlantic Trust from the Trusts & Estates Department of Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster, P.C., where she focused on estate planning, estate administration, trust administration and tax work for her clients. Liza previously served as an associate in Personal Client Service at Deutsch Williams Brooks DeRensis & Holland, P.C., in Boston and worked in offshore relationship management and marketing at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. She has a niche area of pet trust planning and worked extensively on the Massachusetts pet trust statute.

She is also on the executive committee of the Trusts & Estates Consortium in Boston and on the alumni council for Dedham Country Day School.
