AssetMark, a provider of investment and consulting solutions serving financial advisors, has introduced a new ‘Investing Evolved’ portfolio construction framework to help advisors build portfolios based on investor needs.
The Investing Evolved solution comprises three primary components including restructured and simplified portfolio strategies, PortfolioEngine, a portfolio construction tool allowing advisors to better visualize portfolios and guided portfolio solutions (GPS).

The restructured portfolio strategies are made up of three elements including core markets that enable for broad market exposure to participate in global or domestic economic growth, tactical strategies to boost returns or limit losses and diversifying strategies used to diversify equity risk so that investors mitigate the risk of sharp equity market declines.
The framework will help facilitate discussions between advisors and investors on how each portfolio will perform across a range of market conditions.
Available for advisors on AssetMark’s eWealthManager portal from 28 March 2016, PortfolioEngine will allow advisors to use both when constructing portfolios and to help clients visualize what their portfolio could do in different market environments.
Additionally, AssetMark’s GPS includes a range of pre-constructed, actively managed model portfolios that balance strategic insights and deep tactical expertise to respond to changing markets that help investors achieve their goals.
