Asset Risk Consultants (ARC) is set to open a new office in London on 1 October 2014.

As part of the move, ARC has hired Guy Christie from Schroders as new director for its London office.

In his new role, Christie will work with the existing senior management team in developing and delivering ARC’s services to UK-based clients.

In addition, he will support wealthy individuals, charities and family offices meet their financial goals through delivering impartial, tailored investment structuring advice.

Christie joined ARC from Schroders, where he served as client director. Prior to this, he served as investment director and member of the senior management team at Newton.

Christie said: "I am looking forward to working alongside private client advisers and charity trustees in seeking to identify investment solutions that allow each of ARC’s clients to get the best out of the investment management industry."
