Ashcourt Rowan has appointed Gaius Jones as chief executive of the company’s financial planning business.
Jones joins from Towry Law where he was executive director since 2009, assuming the role after the firm was acquired by John Scott and Partners which Jones joined a decade earlier.

He will drive the management and development of the financial planning business across the UK to deliver the group’s growth plans. His arrival follows the appointment of Steve Midgley, who joined Ashcourt Rowan Financial Planning as business director in May.
Jones joined John Scott and Partners in 1999 and was appointed to their board in 2003. Since the purchase of Towry Law in 2006 he held senior advisory and technical positions. He was appointed as an executive director of Towry in December 2009.
